Mohammed Khamis Hamad: A holder of a Masters Degree in Public International law, University of Oslo, Norway; B.A. Degree in Law and Sharia, Zanzibar University; he is currently working as a State Attorney at the Office of Director of Public Prosecutions, Zanzibar and a part time lecturer of Law at the Zanzibar University, Tunguu, Zanzibar. Dr Mohamed Adam: Holder of a Ph. D in Geography, University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas, USA; M.Sc. in Economics (Development Policy and Planning), University of Wales, Swansea, United Kingdom. Muhammad Yussuf

Muhammad Yussuf, A holder of an M.A. Degree in International Affairs, American University, Washington D.C. USA; B.A. (Diploma) in International and Comparative Law of Human Rights, International Institute of Human Rights, University of Strasbourg, Strasbourg, France. A former Deputy Permanent Representative of the United Republic of Tanzania to the United Nations; and former Inspector at the Joint Inspection Unit of the United Nations System in Geneva. Dr Harith Ghassany: A holder of a PhD in Anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies, Harvard University – Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA; Master of Arts in Anthropology and Middle Eastern Studies, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA; Master of Arts in Modern Near Eastern and North African Studies; currently, he is a Visiting Scholar at Georgetown University Law Center, Georgetown University, Washington, DC, USA. Mohamed Saleh

Mohamed Ahmed Saleh: A Doctoral Candidate in Social Anthropology; he is also a holder of an M.A. Degree in Social Anthropology at l’Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, Paris, France; and a holder of a B.A. Degree in Social Sciences at the Institute d’Etudes Sociales (I.E.S) de l’Institut Catholique of Paris, France. Dr. Hassan Omar Ali

Dr. Hassan Omar Ali is a holder of a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, University of Ottawa, Canada, (1996) and an M.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering, University of Ottawa, Canada, (1992). He did his under-graduate studies at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where he obtained a B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering in 1987. Since October 2003, Dr. Hassan is working as Electrical Engineer (Senior Applications Engineer), High-Speed Semiconductor Products, at Texas Instruments Inc., Dallas, Texas, United States of America. Mr. Chande Omar: A holder of a Master of Arts Degree in Film Studies, University of Newcastle, U.K.; B.A. Degree in Visual Arts which he obtained at the University of Visual Arts, Hamburg, Germany, and a Diploma in Journalism from Tanzania School of Journalism, Dar es salaam, Tanzania. Dr Mayassa Salum Ally

Dr. Mayassa Salum Ally: A holder of a Master of Science Degree in Pharmacy which she obtained at St. Petersburg Chemical Pharmaceutical Academy, Russian Federation and a Certificate of Internship with the Muhimbili Referral Hospital, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; A Pharmacist by profession, she is currently Acting Chief Government Chemist at Mnazi Mmoja General Hospital, Zanzibar, Tanzania. Dr Ahmed Salum Gurnah

Dr. Ahmed Salim Gurnah: A holder of a Doctor of Philosophy Degree which he obtained at the University of Leeds, United Kingdom in 1980. He is also a holder of a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Hons) in Politics and Government at Kent University, United Kingdom which he obtained in 1977; former Deputy Executive Director at the Zanzibar Indian Ocean Research Institute (ZIORI), Zanzibar. He is currently Deputy Executive Director at Zanzibar Institute for Research and Public Policy (ZIRPP), Zanzibar, Tanzania. Read more

 

Prof. Abdulaziz Y. Lodhi

Prof. Abdulaziz Y. Lodhi: A holder of a Ph.D in African Linguistics which he obtained in 2000 at the Goteborg University, Gothenburg, Sweden. He is also a holder of a Master of Arts Degree in African Linguistics which he acquired in 1994 at Uppsala University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Swedish languages that he obtained in 1978 at the same University. He is currently Associate Professor of Swahili & Comparative Bantu, Department of Linguistics & Philology, at the Uppsala University, Sweden.
